Venetian Dreams

We had some lovely entries for our last challenge, including a few men crafters which I loved to see. This fortnights challenge at Craft Room Challenge, has been picked by me :-)
I've chosen a Travel or Postcard Theme, I love vintage postcards, but I also love how travel, and even dreaming of travel can truly be inspiring.

For my piece I've created this mini accordian book, it's about 2 inches square, I've used the 2 Venetian sets by Darkroom Door, to create this lovely little book. I've used my fav techniques- sponging and collaging. For the inside of the covers I used some silk like fabric, to give a luxury feel.

As usual some gorgeous work done by my fellow Design team members, so be sure to check them out and join in the fun.

Have a Great Week

Ribbon Girls -Jingle All the Way to Christmas.

Have a great week every one.

For a Man

Gosh hard to believe that we are already up to Challenge 12 over at Craft Room Challenge This time Mervi is challenging us to produce something with a masculine feel, these are always tricky! I've created this 12 x 12 scrapbook page of my ancestor, using some delicious flocked patterned paper, and then creating the tag using various stamps, smooch and sponging.
My fellow DT members have created some stunning work, so be sure to check them out and join in the fun.
